Join us and Nedra for a workshop on HOW SPIRITUALISM HELPS EASE ALL TYPES OF LOSS AND GRIEF. $10 per person.

Grief is like peeling an onion which comes in layers and you sometimes cry a lot.
Join us as we delve into the world of various losses and grief from Spiritualism’s perspective.  Loss affects us throughout life and we’ll explore ways to help move beyond what has been lost or feels lost.  Whether reactions to relationships, divorce, jobs, downsizing, financial burdens, bankruptcy, moves, selling homes, health changes, retiring from a beloved career, death, or other losses; join this workshop and learn ways to ease loss and grief through the help of Spiritualism.

Spiritualism teaches death is not a cessation of life, but a mere change of condition.
Grieving is a very important part of any healing process.  When we suffer loss we feel sorrow, no matter what the loss.
Expressing emotions is necessary for healing.  Believing there is no such thing as “death” (meaning our consciousness, personality and awareness do not die) helps us let go of loved ones and find peace.
Feeling of loss is universal.  Spiritualism helps our journey.  The more significant our loss the more intense our grief, but even subtle losses lead to grief.
Grief is personal and individual and how we grieve depends on many factors including personality, coping style, life experience, faith and type of loss.  This process takes time and happens gradually.  It can’t be forced or hurried and there is no such thing as a “normal” grief schedule.
We’ll discuss patience with yourself and your grief and allowing the process to unfold.

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease or sign of weakness.  It an emotional, physical and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love.  The only cure for grief is to grieve.”
Earl Grollman
