Ava is an active member of the HDB Spiritualist church in Bangor and serves on its Board. She also is a Reiki practitioner in the Usui System of Healing and is described as a creative soul who has been seeing, hearing and feeling Spirit from a very young age. Ava began mediumship development classes at the age of 15 with her father and has been taking classes around the United States for over 30 years with a focus on Love and Light.
